CCRESA VISION AND MISSION STATEMENTS

PLANNING FOR THE FUTURE
Local Superintendents were asked for input on CCRESA’s Vision and Mission statements and gave input regarding local district goals.  CCRESA and the local school districts developed a Plan for Regional Collaboration noted below.  The CCRESA Board of Education also received survey feedback and worked on the Vision and Mission Statements along with developing the Board of Education Goals noted below.  The five CCRESA Departments, at that time, received survey feedback, local superintendent feedback, and CCRESA Board of Education feedback.  Each Department was also asked to develop its own Vision and Mission statements noted below.   They also gave feedback on the new CCRESA overall Vision and Mission statements noted below.

CCRESA VISION
It is the vision of CCRESA to create an environment where everyone is continually learning.

In pursuit of this vision, CCRESA will…
  • Deliver high quality educational programming and support
  • Lead the pursuit of educational opportunities for learners of all ages
  • Model and encourage lifelong learning
  • Continually challenge the status quo

CCRESA MISSION
It is the mission of CCRESA to lead and support learning.

In pursuit of this mission, CCRESA will…
  • Prepare learners to be successful in a competitive, global economy
  • Continually enhance student achievement
  • Employ a competent, enthusiastic staff that provides exemplary customer service
  • Collaborate with schools and other agencies
  • Continually assess the effectiveness and efficiency of CCRESA programs and services

CCRESA AND ITS LOCAL SCHOOL DISTRICTS:
A PLAN FOR REGIONAL COLLABORATION


In the spring of 2006 the superintendents in Clinton County identified the following items for regional collaboration.

  • To help school employees, parents, students, elected officials, and others understand how the global economy is changing the educational environment
  • To support the development of a K-12 curriculum, data-driven assessments, and related professional development
  • To collaboratively provide preschool and early childhood education
  • To continue assessing the feasibility of various countywide models for the cooperative delivery of special education, vocational education, instruction, technology, business, and school support services
  • To design and implement a marketing plan for public education in Clinton County
